My favourite spot for a surf trip in Newquay. Perfect setup with easy walk to fistral and towan/ centre of town/ local bars. Views from the rooms right onto fistral beach- one morning I was watching the sea and saw a much better swell coming in than predicted on Surfline. Stuck the wetsuit on and ran down and was first out at N-Fistral. No doubt the view from the room meant I could have that amazing session while still quiet! Great place. I wish it was open over winter. Comfy rooms and warm with all the amenities you need for your surf trip.
Had a really nice stay here for 3 days. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Brilliant location for the beach. Our room had a great unobstructed sea view. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again when I come back.
Just recently stayed here with 4 friends in the 5 bed private room. Amazing place and only a walk away from the town and the beach. Good standard room with a stunning seaview across the golf course. The Owner Andrew truly is such a lovely and kind gent and always has a smile upon his face! Great place and a great man!
Couldn't ask for a more eager friendly&welcoming owner (Andrew). Basic accommodation (also self-catering option) in great location with decent bar-prices :) Outlook and a short-walk to the Fistral Beach&city centre. Excellent place if you are on a smaller budget, free parking possibilities close-by. Terrace could be refurbished
Best bunkhouse accommodation I’ve stayed at in Newquay. And I’ve stayed in 5 others before finding this one. Great location for town and Fistral. Stunning views over the golf course and the sea. Clean and well appointed rooms with clean linen and towels and comfortable beds!
Andrew is really helpful! The location is straegic. We only needed more or less 10 mins to go to Fistral Beach and Town center. The room was also clean and had a very nice sea and golf field view!
Stayed here for the surf BUCS trip with a group of 12. Excellent location, a short walk to the beach. The rooms were clean with clean towels provided and the owner Ian was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here for a short surfing trip or if you just wanted to visit Newquay.
Right by the golf course with lovely views over it to Fistral beach, which is just a 5 minute walk away. Longbeach has more of a hostel vibe with lots of dorm rooms including two mini apartments with decent kitchens. Lovely owner and well worth the fairly cheap price.
